About Tiny Hero Books

Tiny Hero Books makes personalized picture books. A parent, grandparent or friend describes a child, and we write, draw and print a hardcover where that child is the hero. We are a small independent shop, and a person answers every email.

Tiny Hero Books is run by Boris from Israel. Books are printed and shipped by our print partner Lulu.

How a book is made

• You describe your child: first name, age, how they look, what they love and what the story should be about. No photo, ever: the hero is drawn from your words.
• AI writes an original story from your description, for your child’s age. It never sees the names: they are added only when we lay out the pages.
• Every character gets a reference drawing, and each page is drawn from those drawings, so your child looks the same from the cover to the last page.
• You see it before you pay: the whole story, the cover and the first pages. After you order, we draw the rest and you approve the whole book. You can change any words and ask for up to 10 redrawn pictures.
• Lulu prints the hardcover and ships it to you, with tracking.

What we promise

• Nothing is printed before you have seen the whole book. You approve it; if we hear nothing for 14 days after our reminders, we print it as shown. Not happy before printing? We refund you in full.
• A book that arrives damaged or misprinted is reprinted free.
• We delete your book and its details 90 days after delivery.

What we don’t do

• We never ask for photos of children, and your child’s name never goes to the AI that writes or draws.
• We don’t draw characters that belong to films, cartoons or brands: every character in our books is original.
• The site is for adults making a gift; it is not made for children to use.
