The first pages of a sample book, drawn in about a minute

AI writes an original 14-spread story, and in a minute or two the cover and first pages are drawn. Change any line, or redraw a picture with a note.

  3. Approve.

Like it? Order the hardcover. We draw the rest, you approve the whole book, and then it is printed and shipped.

Questions

Who is it for?
Parents, grandparents and anyone giving a gift, for children from newborns to 7-year-olds. For babies the story is a short, gentle rhyme. The person making the book should be an adult.
What can the story be about?
Anything you can describe: what your child loves, an adventure, a new baby sibling, the first day of school, a trip to grandma's, a bedtime ritual. Family, friends and pets can join the story too.
Does my child really look like the hero?
The hero is drawn from your description (hair, skin tone, glasses, favourite clothes) and stays the same on every page. It is an illustration, not a portrait, and we never ask for photos.
Can the book include characters from films or cartoons?
No. Every character is original: we do not draw characters that belong to other brands, and printers refuse them too.
What if I don't like the finished book?
You see the whole book before anything is printed. Ask for changes, or if it still isn't right, we refund you in full before printing.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
Delivery takes about 3 weeks to the US, about 2 weeks to the UK, about 3 to 4 weeks to Canada and Ireland, and about 4 to 5 weeks to Australia and New Zealand. Shipping is free to the US, the UK and Ireland; to Canada, Australia and New Zealand you pay the postage ($10–16). In November and December, allow extra time.
Will it arrive by Christmas?
Yes, if you order and approve the book by these days: the US by Sunday, November 29; the UK by Sunday, December 6; Canada by Tuesday, November 24; Ireland by Thursday, November 19; Australia by Tuesday, November 17; New Zealand by Tuesday, November 17. They leave room for December's slower printing and post.
