These terms cover making and ordering a book with Tiny Hero Books. By ordering, you agree to them.

What you get

A personalized hardcover picture book. The story is written for your child and the illustrations are drawn by AI from your description, so the hero is an illustration of your child, not a portrait. Before you order you see the whole story text, the cover and the first spreads, and you can redraw those pictures up to 5 times.

After you order: approval comes first

• We draw the rest of the book and send you the full preview. Nothing is printed before you have seen it.
• Before you approve, you can change the text as often as you like and ask for up to 10 redrawn pictures. Anything we got wrong, we fix at no cost and without a limit.
• If you still don't like the book, tell us before you approve it and we refund you in full.
• If we don't hear from you, we remind you on days 2, 5 and 10. After 14 days without an answer we print the book as shown. You confirm this when you order.

After printing

Every book is made for one child, so we cannot take it back once it is printed. If it arrives damaged or misprinted, write to us with a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free.

Shipping

We ship to United States (about 3 weeks), United Kingdom (about 2 weeks), Canada (about 3 to 4 weeks), Ireland (about 3 to 4 weeks), Australia (about 4 to 5 weeks), New Zealand (about 4 to 5 weeks). Shipping is free to the US, the UK and Ireland; to Canada, Australia and New Zealand the postage is added at checkout. Times run from approval to delivery; during November and December printing and mail take longer. If a parcel is lost, we reprint and resend it.

What we can print

Only original characters and stories. We decline books with characters that belong to other brands, or with hateful, violent or adult content, and refund any payment for them.

Your words and pictures

You keep the rights to what you write. You allow us to use it, and the illustrations we make for you, only to make, print and deliver your book. We will not show your book publicly without asking you first.

Our responsibility

If something goes wrong, our responsibility is limited to fixing the book, reprinting it or refunding what you paid for it.
